Vacuum Microelectronics Links
Vacuum microelectronics has been one of the most obscure niches of electronic research, and one with some of the most amazing potential.
Imagine flat panel CRT's as large as you want, and vacuum tube integrated circuits with 10,000 microtubes in a circular millimeter, than can run at up to one terahertz. Not megahertz, not gigahertz, but terahertz, one trillion Hertz! Makes a Pentium look pretty lame by comparison, huh?
Here's some links with info on the subject. If you find more on your own please email me with the URL and I will post it here.
